This journey is in progress. The International Disaster Response Network (IDRN), born years ago, is now being reimagined and reinvigorated. It’s a great story, but it’s still hard to know where to start. You should just jump in as we move forward, and we’ll go back into history for reference when that’s helpful.

Networks are collections of people and groups. The most interesting networks are truly multifaceted and pulsing with all types of people and agendas who are interacting in both calculated and unpredictable ways all at once. And yet, individuals are the basic foundation. I’m one of those individuals. In this particular blog, I’ll be sharing thoughts as the Executive Director of IDRN Global.

Even with just a couple of short paragraphs, you probably already have questions. Please ask. We’ll answer them along the way. This collection of posts will form a narrative.
