HISG is working with Kids Against Hunger to ship thousands of meals to families in need. We are also supporting local partners as they continue to rebuild homes and communities following the floods. IDRN members are encouraged to contact the Global Information Center for assistance or more information about specific initiatives for the people of Manila.

Situation Reports

HISG’s Global Operations Center (GOC) has been functioning at an Alert Level 3 (Preparing) status since responding to Event. The GOC continues to check previous and new connections to assess and document resources and capabilities available to deploy in response to Typhoon Ketsana while also documenting information about Private Sector partner activities in progress.
